Another great season for biking! SBBT have been running its signature trips and few custom trips as well this summer. Unfortunately, on the way, the website has had some difficulties and fatal errors. So we have decided to pull the website until we get back to the office in the fall and ready to announce our 2009 trips. Were working on it at this moment and soon will be up.
Upcoming trips for 2009
Yes Lance Armstrong will be back in the game for 2009 and SBBT will continue to hold its signature trips to France during the Tour de France. We have been operating our trips to the Tour for the last 10 years and still we enjoy sharing with you our Passion for biking. Having the experience of racing the Tour de France 11 times and wearing the Yellow Jersey on 14 stages, Steve Bauer is a great asset when its time to develop our trips. Every year it is a custom itinerary. Nothing is cookie cutter style. Never twice the exact same route. However, there are historic stages coming back every other year such as the Alpe-dHuez, Mont Ventoux, Col du Peyresourde which we ensure, will give you a memorable experience riding such prestigious climbs. Although, the logistic complexity of holding such a trip has become more and more difficult with the increased popularity of the Tour; we will make your vacation seamless and smooth. Make sure you let us know you are interested to be part of this trip soon this fall. We already have a waiting list of reservations awaiting our final trip plans when the official Tour de France route is announced October 22nd.

Paris Add On: Continued trip to Depart July 28th, 2009
Also, In May we will be heading to Italy for the Giro dItalia. If youre looking into La Dolce Vita with excellent food, racing action up close, among the most welcoming culture of the European Community; you have to come to the Giro! The Giro has nothing to envy to the Tour de France. The Dolomiti mountains, wine routes, impeccable friendly service, extraordinary food in the simplest fashion, historic villas Si! Its a must do. The official announcement of the route is planned for the end of November. Do not hesitate to contact us for any questions.

Interested in an expedition? Mr. Rodi of Montreal completed a soloist Tour de France Expedition with Steve Bauer Bike Tours in 2007. Following his inspiration, we have guided another guest this spring who has achieved his first SBBT Signature Expedition, by completing the entire Tour of California race course. His next challenge will be to ride the entire Tour de Suisse for his expedition 2009. More details and news about this exciting yet challenging new category of our custom trips around the world will be coming soon.
We have been developing other fabulous custom trips in wine regions, training camps, for couples, with cooking classes, other major race events such as the World Cycling Championships (f.y.i.
